Weather: Mostly clear skies but a few black clouds. A steady beeze that died down after dark.

The Session: I set up the first rod with the pulley rig and baited with two small sandeels and cast it about 80 yards. I initially set up the second rod with running ledger and peeler crab for bait and cast it the same distance. Bites took a while to come and the first indication of anything was on the pulley rig which was a spider crab. Several more bites were probably the same going by the way the rod tip went. It wasn't until the light was fading before I had a bold bite from a small dogfish. I mised a couple of bites after that and I changed the hooklength of the running ledger to 15lb line and a small squid bait. I still had no bites on this rod but had a couple more on the pulley rig and landed another small dogfish. I was surprised that this fish had another hook in its mouth and the line had been cut about 8 inches from the hook. After removing both hooks and putting this fish back I gave myself about 15 more minutes then packed up. It was my first time ledgering here and I feel I could fish it again at the same state of the tide.
