Time fished from: 17:40
Time fished to: 21:55
Weather: An overcast day with little to no wind early on and increasing just a little towards the end of the session. Feeling fairly warm.
Sea: The sea was very calm with a varying tow between left and right.
Method: Float
Bait: Frozen mackerel strips
Caught (weight): 2 Pollack (0lbs 4oz, Guessed)
The Session: I set up the first rod with a night float and set the depth to 6-7 feet deep and cast about 15 yards out. After having no bites for about 45 minutes I realised why when I saw a couple of cormorants not too far from where I was fishing and figured they were the reason fishing was slow. Eventually they moved on and I was able to catch a couple of pollock.
