The Session: A friend had come to stay for the weekend and we decided last minute to go out for an easy fish. It was slow going though with my friend float fishing and myself feathering at first. I managed the two mackerel after between 1 and 2 hours of fishing and my friend eventually had a run of bites that hardly pulled the float down, one of which turned out to be a small mackerel. I changed to float and then had the two pollock before bites stopped and the last 45 minutes were uneventful.
