Sea: Fairly calm and clear with just a small swell.
Method: Float | feathers
Bait: Frozen mackerel strips | 5 hook hokkai heads, hokkai heads baited with mackerel strips
Caught (weight): 1 Garfish (0lbs 6oz, Guessed), 1 Pollack (0lbs 8oz, Guessed) | 4 Dogfish (1lbs 8oz, Guessed)
The Session: I had hoped for some mackerel but they still weren't showing. I was pleased to catch a garfish on the float at at depth of around 8 foot within an hour of fishing, although generally I don't like catching them because they never stay still long enough to get them unhooked. A few hours and 2 missed bites later and I hooked a pollock at a depth of around 14 foot. I kept switching to mackerel feathers throught the session and just before dark I decided to bait them with mackerel and just leave them on the bottom. This produced 4 dogfish in about half an hour. I packed up hoping my next visit would result in some mackerel
