Bait: frozen large sandeel | frozen peeler crab

Caught (weight): 1 Dogfish (0lbs 8oz, Guessed), 1 Dogfish (1lbs 0oz, Guessed)

The Session: I intended to fish for 5 hours but had to cut the session short due to illness. I began by walking around 200 yards to the left of the exit of the weir path and set up and cast both rods around 70 yards. Bites were few and far between and there were some crabs eating the bait. I managed a couple of dogfish and also found numerous lead weights and hundreds of yards of line and rigs from a walk along the stones at low tide. As things were slow and I was still ill from a cold I packed up early, vowing to give it another go in a few weeks.
