Sea: Clear with a swell and waves of a few feet, rolling for about 10 yards.

Bait: Large frozen sandeel | frozen peeler crab, frozen squid
Caught (weight): 2 Dogfish (1lbs 0oz, Guessed), 1 Dogfish (1lbs 4oz, Guessed)
The Session: I walkedto the right hand side of the beach until there were some cliffs behind me. I cast the first rod as far as I could, which reached around 80 yards The second rod, I cast around 50 yards. The first rod was snagged when I went to reel in and I lost the whole rig. I cast shorter from then on. My first bite came after quite a while and it was typical of a dogfish bite. I unhooked it and rebaited quickly then cast it about 40 yards. Over most of the session I had occasional knocks on both rods and a couple more dogfish. Once the main beach was clear of people I moved there for the last couple of hours and found I could cast further without becoming snagged. The few bites I had here I missed, or the fish fell off on the retrieve. I packed up disappointed that I only had the one species but may return at some point due to the ease of access.
