Weather: Cloudy with just a little wind.

Sea: Fairly clear with waves of just a couple of feet high.

Method: Ledger (homemade poulley rig) | ledger (homemade 2 hook flapper)

Bait: whole frozen loligo squid, frozen mackerel segments, frozen sandeel | live ragworm, live lugworm

Caught (weight): 5 Pouting (0lbs 3oz, Guessed) | 4 dogfish (1lbs 8oz, Guessed)

The Session: I decided to give Seaton abother go hoping to get near the river mpouth but there were other anglers there so I set up a couple of hundred yards down from them. The session was pretty quiet with no bites for a few hours, then a few missed ones on the flapper rig, before I had four dogfish take squid and mackerel on the pulley rig and some small pouting taking both lug and ragworm. I had planned to stay longer but I had a feeling I would just be catching the same species no matter how long I stayed so I decided to pack up at a time that allowed me to get home, sleep and do things I needed to do the next day before setting off out fishing again.
