Weather: A calm day with some sunshine, with just the occasional increase in wind which was blowing downstream.
Sea: The water was clear with many small fish and crustaceans visible at the edge.
Method: Bubble float and sand eel. Lures
Bait: 2 inch white sand eel. Dexter Wedge, Sidewinder natural eel
Caught (weight): 1 Bass (0lbs 4oz, Guessed)
The Session: I fished along the 80 yards of bank to the left of the jetty with bubble float and a 2.5 inch white sand eel and achieved 4 takes but only landed one fish. This was near low tide time. Once the tide had turned a few good sized fish jumped far out in the channel, so I was aware there were good fish around. A good reason to return to try and fish for them one day
